  Always a fantastic getaway from bustling Dubai. Kids are safe here and the staff are just so warm and pleasant. Been here for over a decade and the drive from Dubai though long was worth it. Sandy beach grew before our eyes. A home away from home.

  Best things about my stay: -parking right at the room -bed and pillows are very comfortable -the rooms are very spacious -the beach and pool are within a 1 min walk from the rooms and this is great. -the infinity pool has an amazing view of Snoopy island -the vibe is great with a family feel but also the guests are very welcoming and open to getting to know each other. -staff was very helpful and nice. Room for important: -food menu options were very good but limited it’s worth expanding the options. -I didn’t like the decor of the rooms or the sandy beach bar. They could use a little uplift in terms of color and art work.

  Such a beautiful resort with great views of Snoopy Island from the pool/beach. Waking up to the beach right outside my window was exactly what I needed. Such a great place to get out of the city and just relax. Great service as well.

  Nice renovated place. Amazing beach with Snoopy island. Great swimming pools. And you can make your own BBQ there...

  Family friendly resort with plenty to offer for a weekend getaway or longer. Less than 2 hours drive from Dubai. Sandy Beach was recommended to me by a colleague, and they seemed to be the only hotel in the area with on-site snorkeling and diving. As in, you can rent equipment (charge to your room) and jump into the water straight off their beach without having to book a trip (although you can if you want). This is really convenient for experienced divers like my husband and me, and ideal for beginners like our 12 year old who really enjoyed the snorkeling and is ready to get his open water certification (lessons available onsite as well). As for our 5 year old, she loved the beach, pools, and mini water park -- a new amenity that is not even shown on the hotel web site or brochures! We booked the 2 bedroom apartment, which was very spacious and clean. We would have preferred the 2 bedroom chalet which also had its own BBQ, but it seems the hotel was operating at limited capacity, so we were happy with the apartment this time. Still, we could have stayed for a few days more to enjoy kayaking and other water sports. We will definitely return during a less sweltering time of year (do not go barefoot on the sand between 11am-4pm!), and once the hotel is permitted to open up all its rooms and restaurants. Highly recommended for couples, adventure seekers, and families!
